Girls Camp Director
Shana is currently the girls sports pro in Camp Morasha. She is also the Director of the 5 Towns Girls Soccer and Basketball Leagues. Along with running JV Elite Basketball camp, Shana worked as the sports pro in Camp Mesorah, ran the basketball program at Hillel Day Camp and coached the Varsity girls basketball teams at Central and HANC.
Shana has been involved with competitive sports since 5th grade at Manhattan Day School, where her single game scoring record in basketball still stands. During high school, she played Varsity basketball at SKA where she never lost a game. She was a 2 time league MVP and a 2 time tournament MVP at the Boca Weinbaum Yeshiva tournament. Shana attended the Hall of Fame University of Tennessee Coach Pat Summit's elite invitation-only basketball camp where she had the opportunity to compete with some of the top talent in the country as well as learn from one of the greatest NCAA basketball coaches of all time. Shana also played AAU and Maccabiah basketball during her high school years.
Cheri Kordvani Haghighat
Girls Camp Head Coach
Cheri is currently the coach at North Shore Hebrew Academy for the High School JV team.
Cheri is a certified personal trainer and runs clinics at Great Neck Jewish Youth League.
Cheri is a Yeshiva League Basketball Legend. She played for HANC and was recruited by St. Johns University.
Cheri brings her basketball knowledge and years of coaching experience, to teach the girls how to play the game the right way based on fundamental and proper skill development.
Girls Camp Director of Basketball Development
Jelléah is the Head Coach for the 6th grade girls basketball team at HAFTR, and the JV Coach for the girls at HAFTR High School. Both teams won the championship.
Jelléah Sidney was rated one of the nation's top 100 high school players and played Division I basketball for the University of Kentucky. Her team reached the Elite 8 in the NCAA tournament. Sidney graduated with a Master's degree in Social Work.
Coach Jelléah specializes in skill development, player development, and basketball drills. She brings her basketball knowledge as a division I player and a yeshiva league coach to teach and improve each player's skills and fundamentals.
Lisa is the Head Coach for the JV Girls Basketball team at HAFTR High School.
Lisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been working at SKA, providing mental health support and assisting with the social and emotional growth of her students, since 2015. Prior to SKA, Lisa worked in Bnos Menachem in Crown Heights, as well as other institutions.
During the summer, Lisa is the Teen Division Head at Camp Kaylie. In previous years, Lisa coached the HAFTR Girls Junior High School basketball team.
Division Head - Junior Program
Beka is the Junior (5th and 6th) Division Head. Beka recently received her M.S. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Baruch college and worked in HR for the last 3 years. She coaches basketball for girls in 5th-8th grade at 5 Towns Girls Sports League and teaches basketball clinics for Hustle & Heart Sports during the year. Beka volunteered as a counselor/advisor at I-Shine for the past 8 years.
Division Head - JV Program
Simee has been involved in competitive sports since a very young age. Simee played for the ASA Jerusalem basketball team for middle school and most of high school, traveling and playing teams all throughout Israel. Upon returning from Israel for 12th grade, she played for HAFTR High School. Simee was the Captain of the YU Stern College for Women basketball team. She was inducted into the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll, HVIAC All-Academic Team, Skyline Academic Honor Roll, voted D3 Hero of the Week, and led the Lady Maccabees to their first ever Skyline Conference win. Simee graduated NYU’s College of Nursing and is looking forward to her career as a Nurse.
Division Head - Middle School
Coach Felix is currently the Head Coach of Westchester Community College.
Coach Felix was the women’s basketball coach at Yeshiva University from 2012 to 2015 and was named the Hudson Valley Athletic Conference Co-Coach of the Year in 2014. She also has coached at Woodlands High School in Hartsdale, New York with a 15-5 record, currently coaches a Scarsdale, eighth-grade tri-county girls basketball team, and was assistant women’s basketball coach at Monroe College from 2002 to 2008. She received her B.A. from Iona College and her M.A.at Monroe College.
Coach & Drills Instructor
Coach Kristin is currently the Head Varsity Women’s Coach at the Frisch School. Along with coaching at Frisch, Coach Kristin coaches at two prominent AAU programs, one located in New York City called Mo Motion Inc. as well as The Bergen Broncos located in Northern New Jersey.
Coach Kristin is a native of Florida, whose basketball talents brought her to the Tri-State area the summer of her Junior year in college to play as a scholarship athlete at the NCAA Division II level. She has had the opportunity to coach at many different levels. Coach Kristin’s outlook on basketball is if you start from the basics and build off of that with a lot of repetition and consistency you will start to see your skills and knowledge of the game increase dramatically.
By day Coach Kristin is a School Social Worker with Bergen County Special Services School District where she provides school based counseling to students with psychiatric and behavioral disabilities. Coach Kristin enjoys working with students and athletes from all walks of life.
